Erectile dysfunction medications seized in Glengormley

Large amounts of unlicensed medications have been taken by of Health authorities throughout a search of a home in Glengormley.
A man was interviewed by department officers about illegally importing and consequently supplying unlicensed impotence medications through the web.
The 47-year-old was likewise questioned about other medication offences.
He will now be the subject of a report to the Public Prosecution Service.
The search was performed by the department’s Medicines Regulatory Group.
Its senior enforcement office, Peter Moore, said: “It is crucial that we get the message across that unlicensed medications can be harmful.
“These kinds of items being offered, usually online, have undergone no quality control and there can be no guarantee about their safety.
“You merely do not understand what you are taking or the conditions these items were made in. More significantly, you do not know the result drugs like this may have on your health.”
