Employment-Based Immigration: first Preference EB-1

** Examples of Documentary Evidence That an Individual is an Exceptional Professor or Researcher

In order to show you are an outstanding professor or scientist, you need to include proof of 2 of the 6 noted requirements listed below (or comparable evidence if any of the criteria do not readily use):

– Evidence of receipt of major prizes or awards for impressive accomplishment

Application Process

Extraordinary Ability: You might look for yourself by filing a Kind I-140, Petition for Alien Worker.

Outstanding Professors and Researchers: Your U.S. employer should file a Type I-140, Petition for Alien Worker. As part of the application process, your company should be able to show a continuing ability to pay the provided wage as of the concern date.
